Moped only drives normally with choke?
Hello, as I wrote in my last question, my sister's moped sometimes won't respond to the accelerator. Before anyone else says… NO, nothing has been tampered with; it's in original condition. I went through all the answers on the moped with a friend who knows a bit about it. Nothing helped. But then we noticed that if you pull the choke, it runs normally. Could it be that it's sucking in false air? Does anyone have any ideas?
If the moped only runs correctly with drawn choke (the starter flap ), the mixture is too lean, i.e. the proportion of the mixed-in petrol is too small. This could be due to dirt being in the main nozzle in the carburetor.
Just bad/false.
So that would be too fat or too lean?
too lean. with choke you reduce the air supply and the mixture becomes fatter.
