Is this about the driving class AM? After my understanding, you can only go abroad if you have received the full-fledged driving license with 16. This is the age limit set by the EU for the acquisition. Member States may deviate from this at national level. So does Austria. With 15 years, the steering authorization can be acquired. However, the handed out provisional driving licence is also valid only in Austria. To date, I have no knowledge of whether European states have recognized their preliminary licences. That would be possible.

They can do this even at 14, but with their preliminary driving licence. According to my understanding, this does not change the legal situation in force. Your preliminary driving licence acquired in Austria has no validity abroad.

You can drive at 15. In Italy, there is a rule that a socius can only take place from 18 onwards. Whether it’s on mopeds, ask yourself.
