Moped license at 15, what to consider?

Hello, I'm 15 years old and I've heard that you can get a moped license at 15. I would find it quite practical, as I wouldn't have to rely on my parents if I wanted to go somewhere nearby. I could even ride it to school. My question is, how exactly does that work and what should I keep in mind? How much does a license cost, and how much does a moped cost in general?

Thank you for the answers!

50s are the absolute gray and super dangerous, as limited to 45 km/h. So you’ll always be overtaken by cars everywhere.

Stay on the bike for one more year and then go to a 125s, which can swim everywhere and comes with 15 hp to clearly over 100 km/h.

I can only tell you about A2.

About 200€ for the theory 12+2(motorcycle)

About 50€ Theory exam

Approx. 100€ Practice Exam

Ca.75€ Per practical hour

In practice, you do all motorcycle exercises (Slalom Lang/Kurz, Driving Step Speed, Stop and Go, Doing without/with Brakes, Full Brake)

You need for practice: helmet, gloves, protectors jacket and trousers, boots

To the tips (practice) : Know your vehicle and your limits, focus on your environment and notice procedures until you can manage.

For theory, I can’t give you many tips because a new program comes every year. Take the questions straight, look for “trick” questions.

PS. Prices depend on the location, I paid about 1800€ for my A2 in Saxony (small town).
