Monitor suddenly broken?
Hi,
Yesterday I was watching TV on my monitor with my magenta TV stick, when suddenly there was a “crack” and this was what I saw.
I bought a 260hz monitor and now when I want to increase the Hz to 260 it only goes to 144hz
My 144hz monitor only runs at 60hz, and I can only use 144hz with a 1920×1440 resolution, which stretches the image considerably. So, how can I use 144hz normally?
So, I bought a new monitor, but it's not working properly. When I plug it into my PC, no image appears, but when I plug in a different monitor, it works perfectly. If I connect the "broken" monitor to another PC, it works fine. Do you have any tips?
Hi, I play on the PS5 and recently got a monitor. I was told that I also need to install new software on the monitor. Is that true? I don't know much about monitors. I have the monitor from (Aoc U27G3X – 27 inch UHD Monitor, 160 Hz, FreeSync Pre., G-Sync comp., HDR400 (3840×2160, 1ms…
I've been looking for 4K OLED 27 inch monitors for a while, but there don't seem to be any. Why is that?
Definitely a panel crack. No typical wear damage.
You have 2 years warranty, either via the dealer or the manufacturer. So contact one of them. The trader will probably send it to the manufacturer only for the GWL exam.
If the manufacturer thinks that there was a manufacturing error here, you will be replaced free of charge or a new (same model or better model).
If the manufacturer considers that this is a damage caused by improper treatment (staff, external influence), it may be that he refuses the free GWL and makes you an estimate of the cost of repair. Then you can decide what you prefer.
So I bought it at Mediamarkt and I’m going there today (same finial). Could they give me a replacement?
Can be in any media market branch, even believe Saturn, who have an internal deal with GWL as I have heard and read on the website where they have advertised it.
Whether the dealer gives you a replacement device as long as you are, it’s pure cunning. So kindly ask. Since you are no longer in the obligation to prove the trader (first 6 months) it may be that they do not do this rather and only carry out the GWL settlement for you.
Here I have already heard different approaches at Mediamarkt. Sometimes you give replacements, sometimes not. Because of the damage and the time, I would only give a 30% chance to give you a monitor like that. They don’t have to. If they refuse, ask for a rental device for a small price (e.g. a demonstration device). Another alternative would be to look at pages like bulking rubbish to see if someone gave away in your close monitor so that you have one at least.
Warranty on what? I don’t think they’re gonna give you a warrant, on a crash. So see what Samsung has exactly been in the guarantee terms.
Whatever you have is the legal guarantee. However, you are now in evidence (12 months after purchase) -> you must prove that the device had the error since the purchase. So it’s almost impossible.
Vlt’s done on cunning, but it’s less the case today.
Well, of course, you can try it at the dealer / manufacturer.

The reversal of the burden of proof is completely insignificant for the first time. The questioner does not intend to say that this was so from the beginning. He still has warranty. Do not confuse with the “guarantee”, these are two completely different things, but they like to be mixed.
If you followed the questioner in his statement, there was no overthrow here (and in case of doubt always for the defendant), the damage apparently occurred in normal operation. Whether this was due to a manufacturing error and is torn through internal voltages by the heat during operation of the panel, the manufacturer must measure as soon as it has the device.
I’ve never said that he fell, but that doesn’t cover all the warranty (e.g. crash damage). Should the panel be covered by warranty – already well. But is in the warranty terms of Samsung I have referred to.
If there is no guarantee, the legal warranty applies. And here, in my knowledge, the burden of proof has to be reversed at the latest after 12 months.
My 14 month old TV with panel damage was also rejected at that time. However no Samsung device has been
Don’t need to explain. But if one is involved, it’s so correct with warranty and warranty.
(to clarify I also like to write Legal Warranty – because this is now a duty. I also had so above in the answer)
Okay, if that was really just an example with the fall, I’ll go with you.
The warranty is always valid, with or without warranty, and the reversal of the burden of proof is part of the statutory warranty (not the warranty). The warranty is a voluntary service of the manufacturer (or the dealer who can sometimes be bought). So, as long as you are within the first 24 months, I don’t even have to make the effort to find out if my device still has warranty or not. It can only be that the guarantee offers me special services that I can assert, such as direct exchange/replacement. It is therefore useful to consider this.
