have a monitor that only has usb

It can’t be like that! Each monitor has at least one VGA, DVI, HDMI or DP input or a combination thereof. There are monitors with an integrated USB hub, but monitors that do not have any of the four input types I have mentioned have not yet failed to do so – not to mention devices that only have USB inputs!

And I have been putting and/or building PC complete systems for more than 20 years!

Then you should spread your knowledge once. There are screens that only offer “usb”. Either USB-C or thunderbolt.
These are much rarer, but there are enough to perceive them.

Most of the screens are designed for Mac.

The first screen I would like to see the LG UltraFine 5K 27MD5KL-B

It only offers Thunderbolt.

Also more often, there are smaller monitors that remember a tablet that only offer usb-c. For example, I use the work to debugging because the screens are inconceivably light.

Well, I’m not a MAC fan boy, so I guess I haven’t had one of them in the cure yet.

If I’m still online until then, I’d like to – but from 15:00, I’m sorry I have an appointment until late evening…

As I said, such a device has not yet come to me – but what is not, can still be;)

You don’t need to be a Mac fanboy

Trying is about studying.

But it would be assumed that this works.
