Monthly billing specified but billing still via direct debit (Amazon)?

Hi

I recently placed an order through Amazon and had explicitly selected monthly billing, but the amount was still debited from my bank account a few days after I purchased the goods.

Does anyone know why? Has anyone ever had this happen?

Payment by monthly invoice depends on the customer’s authorization

Your payment authorization will be evaluated for each order. Payment by monthly invoice may not be available to you if we cannot validate your personal information, you have an unpaid previous invoice or we have found that you are not entitled to payment by monthly invoice. If the use of the monthly billing is rejected after your order, we will notify you by email to change the payment method for your order.

No, never happened to me. If it was debited from the account, I just forgot to convert it to monthly bill. You can understand that.

Then send it back or cancel the order and order new.
