It would be best to get the glass beforehand. Then a modeling mass can also “take”.

The fact that it tears is due to the fact that it dries too quickly and that it may also be applied too thick. Many masses don’t like that. I’ve had to try around for a long time before I started making modeling material myself.

But you have to provide some humidity. Or even cold, so that the moisture only evaporates very slowly from the mass.

Relatively simple. Gives some recipes. I personally use this here:

  • 110 g rice flour
  • 110g wood glue
  • 5g liquid soap
  • 1-2TL hand cream
  • 2TL glycerol (does well without)

I’ve already done some things and I’m super-satisfied.

What happened to me spontaneously, because my figures have an inner life. I shape with aluminum foil or paper and wrap everything with painter tape (this crepe tape) before I reach the mass. This could also work with your glasses because the crepe tape is rough.

Pinterest is hell. I can’t look in there. If there’s still some cheap base material…wah.

From her I have the recipe for the modeling composition: https://youtube.com/@yobankaart-manualidades?si=OV3R_j9H0zsfngkw
