Keine Ahnung..

Do you know a way how the whole thing can be organised best? I know it’s going to be expensive, but do you know other organizations except for EF, for example, the language travel?

The problem is that you have to get a certificate of study performance. These can be issued by language schools. Therefore, the idea of organizing a language school is good.
Show on site (L.A.) to 🔍 „English as a Second Language“ and compare prices with EF

There would cost 6 weeks LA, for example, between € 4000-5000.

6 weeks accommodation plus flight plus insurance and cost of living, lessons, there comes a lot together.

London up to 4000€ for 6 weeks. So are high numbers, but don’t know me with all these organizations and possibilities, can you recommend?

Without organization. You don’t need it as long as you don’t work, a F-1 visa is not a problem. Maybe it’s even under ESTA.

Or rather live in an apartment there for 6 weeks on your own? I don’t know.

You can do that, but if the university accepts that?

Good contact for academic exchanges.

The same applies to GB.

Hi! I can only say something about EF. I traveled to New York with EF and took a language course. There is also the language year at EF, as you can go to several courses. I was happy with my advice, the booked transfer/book and the language trip. Of course, you have to consider the aspect of money 🙂

You might be able to rent an AirBnB and book a flight, right? If you want to get to know people, just take a hostel – so it’s even cheaper…

Yes, your question was whether you should do it on your own. And that’s what I’m telling you: EF is completely overpriced. What they do is organize everything yourself. That was the core of my statement.
