Hello, I want to buy this e-scooter. I'm aware that it's not legal because it uses over 500 watts and goes over 25 km/h. I can't find any answers on Google. What is the minimum age for a moped license, and what is the maximum speed allowed with a moped license? And how many watts can the e-scooter use? (Does anyone know if this scooter is even legal in Germany?)

Hallo, Ich habe meinen ATU Explorer Speed 50 auf 25 mittels Gaszugdrossel und Keilriemendrossel gedrosselt. Nun habe ich allerdings ein Problem: Die Drossel wurde vom TÜV abgenommen, aber der Roller schafft die 25KM/H nicht mal. Der Roller hört sich an, als läuft er mit viel zu vielen Umdrehungen. meine Prima 5 geht nur an und läuft weiter wenn ich mindestens 1/4 am Gashahn drehe. Wenn ich den Gashahn auf Ausgangsposition zurück drehe geht sie sofort aus. Das Zündkerzenbild ist Schwarz Ölig. Dass müsste doch eigentlich heißen dass sie zu viel Sprit bekommt aber wieso läuft sie dann nur wenn ich am Gashahn ziehe….

Hi, if he has a road permit, you need at least the driving class AM. The Mofa test certificate is not sufficient at 45 km/h.
If he doesn’t have a road permit, you won’t be insured. And you shouldn’t drive him in public transport with no driver’s license.

So you can only drive the Scooter on grounds that are not accessible to the public.
