Pay with Klarna without having online banking?

If you want to order something with PayPal, you have to have online banking linked to your Sparkasse account. Is this the same with Klarna? Or do you just have to transfer to a specific account, which is also possible without online banking?

If you want to order something with Paypal, you must have linked online banking for your savings bank account.

No. You don’t have to link online banking, but you have to issue a SEPA mandate to allow PayPal to debit from the current account by direct debit. Alternatively, you can also deposit a suitable debit or credit card, which is then charged. You don’t need online banking for both.

Is that what Klarna did? Or you just have to transfer it to certain account, which goes without online banking?

This depends on what payment method you use from Klarna. You need online banking for an instant transfer. Not for an invoice. You get your bill by email, with the transfer data. You can also transfer it offline. But be sure to pay attention to the correct use (not to add anything) so Klarna can assign the transfer.

And of course you have to be full-year.

No, it won’t work, and you’ll get some problems after that.
No Klarna without account. Incorrect information = trouble

First of all, yes. If you notice sooner or later, your PayPal or Klarna account will be blocked. Then it can also later if you are full-year trouble getting an account again. To do this, it is also criminal to register with incorrect data.

The safest thing if you want to pay online would be a prepaid Visa or Mastercard that you can charge from your account by bank transfer. There’s something like that for minors.

Then you will only violate the AGB at most online shops, as most orders only allow from 18 onwards. But this is usually not controlled.

It’s not about me for the first time. I also wrote that first will work, but sooner or later will notice.

Hey together,

1.Since recently, PayPal unfortunately slows the access for online banking for 90 or 180 days.

Previously, it was possible to enter the 4-digit code sent by PayPal via 1-Cent transfer.

This seems to be over!

Do not understand why PayPal has changed this. PayPal argues this with fraud prevention and is also intended to serve as a risk response.

Paypal sees whether there is enough money on the bank account for the PayPal payments to prevent payment failures.

For me, this is an excuse to control us as a customer.

For the rate purchases, I can understand and accept it, but PayPal should have the highest 3 months (90 days) access to the bank account instead of 180 days.

I can’t understand it for the direct debit and bill purchases.

2.Klarna, however, continues to require only the SEPA direct debit authorization for billing and rate purchases.

Instant purchases can only be made with online banking!

Klarna examines (currently), in my knowledge, the Schufa only from an amount of 200€. Among these, only the previous payment behaviour/payments at Klarna are checked, but no Schufa !

This is to be done, however, from approx. At the end of the year (2024), because from then on all service providers, such as Klarna and PayPal etc., will be required to report amounts under the sum of 200€ of the Schufa.

Means to become from ALL Purchases, including under 200€, reported to the Schufa.

Klarna, in my knowledge, launched a pilot project with the Schufa at the end of 2023, where the future Schufa queries (at least Klarna) should be neutral.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ and Mary I desire all,

Amen.

Love

Dawid

You don’t need online banking for Paypal. Paypal can collect the money by direct debit. Also in Klarna

You don’t need online banking, either for Klarna or for PayPal.
