Take the train with a tram ticket?
Hello everyone.
I will soon be taking the tram to the train station and then catching a train to another city.
Is the tram ticket also valid for the train journey?

I would like to visit a friend in Leipzig without paying any money. So I was wondering if it would work with the chocolate ticket. The only problem is, I don't know if it will work. Sorry about the spelling, it's 5 o'clock 🙂
It was supposed to go public in 2008, but because of the financial crisis, the IPO of Deutsche Bahn AG was canceled at the last minute and there has been no talk of it since.
Hello I have a Coldplay ticket for tomorrow in Düsseldorf, but I can't go anymore. I wanted to sell it today, but it's no longer possible. Even though it was supposed to work until the day before, I put it on eBay, but I haven't received any offers yet, and the ticket isn't that expensive,…
Hello, I wanted to take the bus today, and when I got on, the bus driver told me to put my card on the ticket. Unfortunately, my card was invalid, which I hadn't noticed, and he confiscated it. So I got off the bus because I didn't have any money with me. Is the bus…
The website says you can use some ICs but not all of them. Can I then travel from Bremen to Hanover?
Hello, the Travis Scott concert is taking place in July this year and I wanted to ask about it. I'll be 16 then, but my girlfriend will still be 15 (her birthday isn't until three months later). And I wanted to ask if they'd let us in, since she's not 16 yet. Can she just…
Too little info. If you have bought a ticket on Bahn.de, the Tram stop is included in your route and since what’s from the sub price is so it doesn’t apply to the Tram, look at Bahn.de’s exact city ticket conditions.
If you have bought a composite ticket, Tram i.d.R. should be there and there should be nix of partial price if the tram stop is included in your route.
Notification
Within collective agreements, trams, buses and subways usually have the same fare as in trains of local transport (S-Bahn, regional railway, regional express)
Im VRR geht das natürlich auch. Du darfst dann nur im Regelfall keine Fernverkehrszüge (IC, EC, ICE, Thalys, Flixtrain usw.) benutzen.
This depends on whether it is a journey within a traffic network and whether tickets of the traffic network are valid in the train used.
Without more detailed information, this cannot be answered safely.
The Transport Federation is the VRR 🙂
Within the VRR you can also use regional trains with a VRR ticket. You only have to buy a ticket with the price level required for the entire route.
In order to make the whole thing more confusing, is there a composite tariff in the city, the counties? then yes, otherwise not.
Depends on what’s on it.

If it is not ice or ic and the ticket has far enough scope – YES!
For the train ride you need a train ticket
Nein. Eine Straßenbahn ist kein Zug.
