Book Los Angeles with a budget of €2000?

I'd like to fly to Los Angeles in February. I've already created a savings plan, and I could save €2,000 (maybe a little more) by February. Will that be enough?

I can find a flight for €600 at best, and €1,000 in the worst case scenario. I plan to stay there for about 4-5 days, but mostly for Hollywood and general sightseeing. How expensive are hotels (the cheapest ones, at best)? Maybe go out to eat once or twice, and maybe buy a few souvenirs.

Will I be able to get by on €2,000?

For 4-5 days you can travel with hand luggage, as you get cheaper flights. That’s why 2000 could go.

Whether it’s worth flying like for 4-5 days…. It’s different

Booking.com believes you are staying in a dormitory room for about 25 EUR/night. I would advise you to calculate your budget according to Booking.com and the entrance fees/tour rates, you will find everything in advance on the Internet

25€ in LA? Except maybe outside or in very dangerous neighborhoods.

Who wants to stay cheap like the questioner has to make smears. In this price range, 10 places were shown in sleeping rooms, the best is rated 8.6 from the respective target group.

I cannot understand such requests for accommodation, but if the questioner is looking for “at best the cheapest” he will count on the restrictions.

I see a bed in the 8-sleeping room for 4 nights for 106 CHF. If we really have so much better prices in Switzerland…

The questioner is certainly able to find the best accommodation for himself through our discussion.

I’m Level 3 Genius – so get the highest discounts. It’s not that.

As I said, an Airbnb in the Hills is definitely the better solution and also on budget.

Additional: I just see you will probably not be shown at Booking the discount you receive via smartphone and login. Then the choice could be smaller.

Therefore, it is always advisable to look for accommodation myself, as I recommended the questioner.

Freehand is not a hostel, but a 4* hotel. There are no rooms for 25€ (but the location is also not the best, is a block away from the Skid Row) – as stated there is exactly 1 hostel for 25€ – and this is in WeHo. And the page shows you how dangerous WeHo is. Just read.

I don’t know this page.

Show me as mentioned 10 on booking.com, among others a lovely hostel “Freehand Los Angeles”

I deliberately did not post link or hotel name, but pointed out that the questioner should look for a suitable accommodation on booking.com that corresponds to his budget.

For about 700-800€ for a week you already get an Airbnb in the Hills. And this is also in the budget of the FS.

Recommended such dangerous accommodation is absolutely reckless.

Could be very close, it would rather not do it before you are in trouble.
