Mirtazapin hilft nicht?

Schönen guten Abend zusammen,

Ich bin 58w,lebe in einem Pflegeheim und bin bettlägerig.

Ich bekomme seit sechs Wochen mirtazapin, nachdem quetiapin und doxepin abgesetzt wurden.

Es geht mir sehr schlecht unter dem Mirtazapin (schwere Depressionen und schlechte Gedanken)

Nächste Woche kommt die Neurologin zur Visite.

Was soll ich ihr sagen, damit sie mir was Richtiges aufschreibt?

Actually, it’s enough to tell her you don’t notice any effect. The logical conclusion would be that you have to try another antidepressant (six weeks is already enough time to notice whether it works or not).

Sertralin is a popular antidepressant.

It does not recommend any antidepressants because they work differently on everyone. Some help Mirtazapin very well. For example, I had no effect from Sertralin.

It should also be kept in mind that antidepressants generally do not have sufficient effect in half of patients. So it can be that you don’t really talk about an antidepressant.

Just tell her it doesn’t help and tell her how you feel.
With me, Mirtazapin did not really help, then got escitalopram, of which I was almost manic
