Minitraktor?

Wir haben ca. 5ha Wiese, die bis diesen Sommer verpachtet ist, die Pacht läuft also mit den nächsten Wochen aus. Weil auch sonst kein Bauer unsere Wiesen mähen möchte, da sie teilweise doch seehr steil liegen, haben wir uns überlegt, mehr selbst zu mähen, und machen uns Gedanken darüber, uns einen eigenen Mini-Traktor/ Quad oä. anzuschaffen. Wichtig wäre, dass man verschiedene Aufsätze zum Wenden etc. anbringen kann, und er eben auch im steilen Gelände zu gebrauchen ist (Überrollbügel?). Beim Vorbeifahren mit dem Auto haben wir einen gesehen, den wir uns gut vorstellen könnten (siehe Bild),
haben ihn aber wie gesagt nur aus der Ferne gesehen. Kennt jemand gute Maschinen bzw kann eine allgemeine Empfehlung aussprechen, auf was wir achten sollten? Uns ist klar, dass man den Balkenmäher in den ganz steilen Bereichen wahrscheinlich trotzdem vorziehen sollte, dennoch würden wir gerne eine etwas bequemere und schnellere Alternative ergänzen.

Look for a hiker who guards the steep areas.
You will not profit if old farmers see no potential there, but only costs.
In addition, I would recommend that you inform the Agricultural Authority of your own farm.
Instead of the sheep, you could put young cattle on the surface from a farmer.
Such a small lawn tractor is unsuitable for high grass due to the construction of the mowing plant. A good beam mower is superior to the lawn tractor in the high grass and on the slope.

Since we plan to keep animals ourselves, we would like to have the means to produce our own hay. We take this with the sheep into our considerations, even if the shortage of hay is intensified
At 5 ha you have no hay shortage if you use half for the sheep’s pasture, and make the other half hay. And you can buy hay for trouble.
When you start with animal husbandry, start with few animals (maybe 5) to learn and then grow the herd from your own breeding.

Yeah, if you have horses, you don’t need sheep.
because hay extraction is an absolute new country for me, I cannot estimate how much hay comes out, which will be different from year to year or cut to cut. But since we want to hold horses, then 3ha horses, 2ha sheep and besides the 1st cut would be before they come to the meadow (don’t you have sheep out all year?) I don’t see any way to produce your own hay…?

Roll bar is not suitable for hanging. You just won’t be beaten. That’s what the tractor is for.

Since the guard so far had to mow with rope winches and my father hadn’t hired such large tractors since he witnessed a deadly tractor accident, we thought that something could possibly be the solution. But with roof it is probably a lot smarter, thanks 🙏
