Minimum wage, am I right or is the other one?

I just wrote in an article that raising the minimum wage won't help because taxes and levies are still too high and that's where we need to start. Someone disagreed, saying that low-income people depend on the minimum wage. Who's right?

First of all, there is good that there is a minimum wage or a statutory wage lower.

However, an adjustment of the minimum wage is a whole lot more than on the one hand one pays more for social security contributions, and on the other hand the purchasing power is increased

I have also written in an article that does not bring the increase in the minimum wage, since taxes and levies are still too high and you have to put on it.

Have you ever informed yourself about this? Since when did you pay so much wage tax with the minimum wage?

If you want to start taxes, then first and foremost the upper ones benefit.

If you earn little, you don’t pay so many taxes.

Tax reliefs are usually better for many earners than for low earners.

Why not € 25,-? When do people realize that doesn’t matter. The purchasing power is decisive. Only the state benefits if it drives inflation and thus has more tax revenue.

Those who are for the minimum wage do not pay, or hardly pay taxes. In this way, tax reliefs would hardly reach the minimum wages.

For example, if prices increase, VAT and some others increase.
