Mini-job?

Is it normal to just walk into the store I want, ask about a mini-job, and submit my documents, or do I have to do it differently? Or is it even possible that they won't accept it, and I'll have to do it again online or by mail?

Can you work in a DM as a 16-year-old?

I've always applied for mini-jobs online and gotten them that way. The most effective way was through temporary employment agencies, since mini-jobs were often temporary, which allowed for quicker transitions.

My roommate tried the "I introduce myself" method, but she went to at least 50 businesses without success until the 70th one. Online, I managed to get a job after every fifth application. She had more experience and a higher education than me, and she looked better. So, I'm definitely in favor of online :).

Hey
