To work in a company (like Lidl), you have to be at least 15, and that's only theoretical. In practice, companies only hire temporary workers from 18 onward—so they don't have to worry about supervision issues.

At 13, you are allowed to deliver newspapers under certain circumstances.

At 12, you're not really allowed to do anything—maybe mow your neighbor's lawn, carry groceries, offer help… but nothing more. At 16, you can do whatever you want, or let's just say you definitely have plenty of options. But at 12, you're definitely not allowed to work at Lidl; that would be illegal and would be noticed 🙂

No, the employment would be illegal.

Legally, the earliest age is 15. But even then, most companies won't do that.

In theory, you can do light work from the age of 13, but from the age of 15 you can do "real" work.

Isn't the minimum age for mini-jobs 14?

No, that won't work at that age. You'll have to wait a few more years before they'll take you.

These are things you can easily google yourself. You can also use the archive here. It's all in the Gute Frage rules, so you can read them right away.
