Minecraft server on fritzbox?
Hello,
Is it possible to install a Minecraft server on the FRITZ!Box?
Hello,
Is it possible to install a Minecraft server on the FRITZ!Box?
Sorry for the possibly amateurish description. Since moving in, we've been having internet problems in our apartment. The connection drops out irregularly for a few minutes, sometimes several times an hour. We're with Telekom (a contract from our old apartment) and have already had a technician come to our home to discuss the problem. He…
I ordered Wi-Fi from Vodafone online a while ago, and nothing happened. When I asked, they simply said the contract hadn't been accepted. Now, about two weeks ago, Vodafone sales representatives came to my house, and I signed a new contract with them. He told me the router should arrive in a few days, but…
I have a ping rate of over 100 the whole time and the game is almost unplayable. Other games and browsers load and run quickly, but not Fortnite. My Wi-Fi card is new.
As you can see, these pins are pressed into the socket. They still look good, though, since they're actually at the same height. Well, I don't know if it has anything to do with that, but we have a damn strange problem: We got a new Vodafone modem/router that's connected in the basement. All three…
I have a room right outside where the internet is bad. We got an internet amplifier for the Fritz Box and connected it to the router, but the amplifier is not displayed on the wifi. Do I have to connect to the amplifier or does the router have a longer range?
A FritzBox is a router and not a server.
There’s just no performance.
At least 2 GB of RAM is required for a Linux Minecraft server.
A current FritzBox has 512 MB of RAM.
Put a Raspberry Pill 4 or 5 or one NAS if you want to run a server permanently.
No. I would recommend a Raspberry Pie 5, which can now be 8 – 16GB RAM and have the opportunity to dismantle an M.2 SSD if you want to exaggerate. ^^
Here there’s a nice article, like that.
Okay, what’s that?
A minicomputer.
