Microsoft Visual Studio: How can I disable this thing?
As you can see in the image below, I'm talking about the strange cursor on the "o" in " Content . " I don't even know what it's called or why it appears and suddenly won't go away. How can I change it so I have the normal typing cursor and not this thing? What's it for anyway? It's holding me up so much, and I can't fix anything or add anything to the code. Is there any way to turn it off completely?
Press on your keyboard "insert", you will find on a normal German layout right from the back button, it says "infect" on it.
And what you need, I can't help you.
By the way, this is not limited to Visual Studio.
This is the normal cursor! This is true when you have activated the "insert" button and has changed the editor from insert mode to overwriting.
Simply press the Insert button again and everything is as before.
The problem is in front of the screen, not in the PC, because "this shit thing" is not responsible for your instructions. but only do what you told the program.
