I wanted to log into my Microsoft account on my phone, but now I'm supposed to verify my identity, which isn't tied to my account. I haven't had this email for over six months (and according to Google, I can't get it back). I can only have a code sent to this old email, nothing more.

You contact the Microsoft customer hotline and explain your problem in the hope that they can help you. After all, you’re not the first and certainly not the last one who has “balled” his Ident account…
Or – You assign a new Microsoft account.
