Microphone not working?

I have a Samsung Meteor Mic that no longer works. When I connect it to my PC, I get the following message (see image).

However, my microphone still has power, as the orange light is constantly lit. Device Manager only shows that it's an unknown USB device (see image).

When I look further into the device's properties, I find error code 43, but I don't know what it means…

I tried a driver update, but the device is still up to date (driver-wise).

Is my microphone broken, or could there be a solution (like software) that I could use to fix it?

(This is my microphone, the light is not blue, but a very faint orange)

For troubleshooting, try out the microphone to other computers.

  • If it works there, the source computer has a problem. This could then be the driver or the USB input.
  • If it does not function there, the microphone or its electronics will be defective.

It is important for capacitor microphones that the phantom feed functions without errors.

A voltage without which the capsule of a capacitor microphone does not receive the necessary pre-voltage and therefore remains mute.

usb drivers are dependent on the mainboard itself, ned is the microphone except the connection itself, go other usb devices on the same port?

if yes you do not have a driver problem but presumably wobble contact or connection from the micro, if no test other ports, have everywhere proobleme it is probably usb driver in general that has to be renewed, there usually goes realtek driver, but your mainbaord manufacturer should also have one
