Micro SD card speed?

Hello

I recently bought a Gigabyte G5 kf e3de313sd laptop.

The laptop only has 512 GB, so I'd like to upgrade the storage. There's also a Micro SD option.

Now I would like to ask if the speed between a PCIe 3.0 m.2 SSD and a Micro SD card from Sandisk (Extreme Pro UHS I, which is the most expensive model except UHS II which is a bit faster but is only available in 128 GB and very, very expensive) is high?

So the loading times aren't that important, I'm just wondering if I lose FPS in games, and if so, how many?

200r/140w

The extra 30 euros compared to a faster external SSD is not important since it wastes space and also looks a bit ugly.

So the question

Is there a significant difference in FPS between a Micro SD and an SSD/M.2? Game loading times aren't important.

Thanks

Thanks again

A SD card is not really designed for games.

No matter what speeds you want to use.

To zoom on PC take a SSD or HDD but SD cards are really more like photos and videos – in mobile phones, cameras or drones.

In addition to Chat GPT

An SD card is normally not suitable as a primary storage medium for playing on the PC, since it generally does not offer the required reading speed. It is better to use a fast SSD or HDD. SD cards are more suitable for data storage and transmission.

Where are they faster?

On the PC, the speed is not reached. As already said, no problem for pictures. But with large files it becomes a problem.

Why do you want the guarantee? You want to sell them again or how?

I don’t know, what’s the problem of increasing your SSD or installing another one?

Or use an external
