Metz TV power cable?

I bought a Metz TV from 2011. It initially worked with the power cable I was using, but suddenly it stopped working. Did I even use the correct power cable, or is the socket broken?

Pictures are attached.

Thank you in advance.

The plug should fit. Vllt. If the cable itself is defective, or you just have bad luck and the TV is now broken.

Such plugs usually have EuroStecker, flat and without grounding/drit line and are therefore designed only for low power, but even 230 V. At 2.5 A maximum, this is 600 W, rather less.

I’ve got cable breaks in the line, because they’re relatively thin, they’re getting bent, and they’re just two lines…

Correct,

These cables are often broken, but only stuck, or when you move them. If the TV suddenly no longer works without hitting around, most of the time is on the TV itself.

You can get the cable in electrical specialist stores or online. The €3 is worth trying.

As I wrote, the €3 should be worth it.

The connection cable can be measured on cable breakage.
