Metro?
Hello, I have never been to the Metro and am considering getting a card, the requirements are met
Just my questions:
– Is the price range of private labels comparable to that of private labels from discount stores (converted to volume, of course)? Or are they more expensive?
– Is the product range comparable to Kaufland or Marktkauf, or even larger
– Is there also fresh vegetables?
– Is the atmosphere different there, more like a factory than a supermarket?
– Your experiences: Do you enjoy shopping there? What are the pros and cons?
– Can I also pay in cash?
So you can pay cash anyway. Of course, the offer is a lot bigger than in the normal supermarket and discounter and you get the stuff in significantly larger quantities. You can only save on condition. Because usually the things are either as expensive to the kilo as in the discounter or supermarket or even more expensive even if you take the own brands. But you should definitely make yourself a picture.
And always think nicely that they are quoted prices are nice prices and you still have to pay the sales tax. However, the final amount including sales tax is always somewhat smaller. I get fresh vegetables at least at the metro to buy here with us. But also not cheaper than in the discounter.
After my experience, you’re often in the supermarket around the corner. You get size packed goods, such as noodles, cans, etc.
This is suitable for people who have a lot to do in business and the time is short.
But I think you should take a picture of yourself. I’m with SELGROS and don’t think you’re saving money there. On the contrary. Partly, you pay more for the items than if you buy them at the supermarket.
