Yes, you can start the car because this process is not initiated by the key but by the car. So if the car battery is full, but the battery of the key is empty, the car will still unlock and you can start.

However, you can no longer open the doors by key. This is regulated by the key battery.

To change the battery, you have an unlocking slide at the top. You can easily push it to the side and then you can pull out the inner life and exchange the battery. Ggf makes sense to remove the emergency key beforehand.

In my experience, the car in the display warns sufficiently long before the battery is weak and has to be changed. This makes any X any workshop at the next service/oil change if you wish.

you can also drive with empty battery. the car can no longer be opened or closed via radio. Note that the battery is empty. then you have to change this.
