Mercedes car is beeping. What is it?

The car is beeping at irregular intervals. The car was purchased used. It sounds something like ping pong. Sometimes it happens twice in a row, then nothing for miles. We suspect the radio is changing the frequency when it comes within range of another tower.

It can be almost anything.

Look into the user manual whether there's something to do with it.

Otherwise drive to the next dealer and explain the problem to him.

You don't have any warning messages on the display? The VW from my aunt has annoyed her with warning tones – until she has taken her unsnalled handbag off the passenger seat.

Climbing the cables of the seat occupancy sensors during the ride can also help. For safety reasons, before driving, attach cords to the cables and a passenger who is also snorted should pull and let go while you are fast enough to the cords.
