Mercedes Benz C-Class, model year 2014
Mercedes Benz E-Class, model year from 2012

In terms of quality, the two aren't nearly as different. I know both series quite well. Even technically, one can't beat the other. The difference is that the E-Class is larger, more spacious, and more comfortable, or rather more pleasant for long journeys. I also subjectively consider the E-Class W212 to be easier to handle.
Overall, I'd probably choose the E-Class because it simply offers more value for the same used car price. Just make sure you buy a Mercedes like this from an authorized dealer/branch ———-> Keyword "young stars"! That way, you'll be on the safe side!
Personally, I also find the E-Class's styling calmer/more balanced. The W205 is the first C-Class model I've absolutely fallen for. A car this overdesigned and impractical is a real shame. My opinion.

Well, the thing is, I don't really understand the difference between the C and E classes. The E class is just bigger…that's all, right?
Yes, and slightly better made…
But honestly, what do you want with a car that is driven either by pensioners or by Turks and costs half a fortune to maintain, not to mention the purchase price 😅
