Menstrual cups?

Hi,

I wanted to ask about your experiences with menstrual cups. I (f16) would really like to try it out, but I'm really unsure if and how I'm even supposed to get the thing in, because it's still really tight down there and all 😅😅. Is it even possible? And how's it with taking it out? I'd love some tips 🙂

The introduction needs some exercise, but is less difficult than you think. By having your period, insertion is easier and should not be too tight. Best buy a small cup first and try a little around as it is easiest for you. The first time I recommend to wear the cup only during the day at home and in combination with a slip insert or bandage. If she doesn’t sit properly, nothing happens and you can just get her right. How exactly you can introduce them you googles, then you get tips on folding, correct position etc. I recommend that you circle the cup once with a finger or turn it a little so that it folds out completely.

Picking them out is quite easy, but I recommend you buy a cup that has a good “foot” or handle, so you can easily grab it even if it is wet. In menstrual stages, a kind of negative pressure is created in some women if you want to pull them out again. You can usually dissolve it by folding the cup with a finger. This negative pressure has disturbed me, which is why I moved to menstrual discs (for which everything I have said so far also applies), but some women do not mind it or they do not even notice it. If you’re careful when you get out, nothing gets dirty, so that’s not a problem.

Overall, I think menstrual stages or discs are much more pleasant than tampons and bandages and you should definitely try this. As I said, buy a small cup and try out the whole home in peace. Don’t forget to cook them before the first use 🙂

At the moment I use a femdisc, cups I tried different. They are all different so you can simply search for one that fits from size and is good to hold. You can’t do much wrong when choosing 🙂
