Menstruation?

Asking this question is very stressful for me because I am very afraid of what I might have.

I know I need to see the doctor, but waiting until Monday feels like an eternity.

I'm 22 years old and got my period pretty late for the first time (at 17). At 18, I had no period for six months, then again, and then none again for a few months. According to my gynecologist, it wasn't anything serious, just normal. Well, on average, my period lasted 3-8 days, and this year it's getting really bad. I'm getting more and more panicked every day. Today is the 23rd day, and I'm still bleeding. I don't know if you could call it spotting, because there's quite a lot of it. It's important to note that I don't have typical period pain, but I haven't had any of it during any of my periods either.

I hope you can help me. Perhaps someone has had the same symptoms or knows someone who has. Could I have cervical cancer?

Hello,

I personally haven’t had it yet, but I know from two girlfriends that they had it before. I believe that the problem is not so bad that it must be treated immediately and it is not too late on Monday. I think cervical cancer is unlikely, but I’m not a medic.

Good improvement, I’ll be fine.

Of course, I can’t tell you anything because I don’t have any medical knowledge, but I have had similar experiences.

Symptoms like these can occur when a cyst is swollen or burst in the body, which can even severely break the period for a longer period, at least this was the case with me. I had exactly the same symptoms as you now.

This can also be strongly influenced by drugs. In 2018 I had a severe accident. After that, I was treated in the hospital for two months and got strong drugs. After that it took 5 years before my period was again normal.

I wouldn’t let the doctor loose… because I’ve had worse experiences with that. If you have a long period of time like e.g. these 23 days of blood loss and that does not run in small masses and that in every coming period, there can be very bad other diseases and symptoms. Don’t let the doctor loose.

That’s hard to say, but you should be a female doctor… that might be a bit bad, but you have to keep quiet now and here are your first contacts with such a thing:
