16GB are usually enough, but at current prices you can build 32

Depends on what you want to do with the PC and how long you want to keep the PC. For gaming usually reach 16GB.

If you want to keep the PC as long as possible, you can go to 32GB.

Also recommend buying used. The prices for used DDR4 RAM are just in the basement, because very many upgrade to DDR5. I guess the prices will also fall even further towards the end of the year, because then most people buy new PCs and the used market is flooded again.

32!

16 are too little.

And if you want to record videos and cut, 64.

32GB of course. There is no more reason to buy 16GB at the prices. 32GB costs only 50-50€ at DDR4. So the question does not arise.

And FHD has nothing to do with. With increasing resolution, the VRAM range of the graphics card and not the normal RAM increases.

The resolution is irrelevant for this.

Why do you want to use ddr4?

I’d use 32GB DDR5, so you’ll have a rest. 16GB is enough.

Because of the Ryzen 5 5600. Obviously a budget PC is to be built here.

Joa, this isn’t always obvious, so I’m asking.
It’s obvious, but it doesn’t stand.
