Memory used up by opera gx?
Today I received a message from Opera GX for the first time saying that my RAM was at its limit and that I needed to reload the page. After reloading, it worked again for a few minutes. I opened the task manager and found that the problem wasn't directly with Opera; rather, every time I opened Disney+ the MB would increase and the page would have to be reloaded. I thought it was something to do with the quality settings, as I had set it to HD 4k, but without watching anything, only in the main menu of Disney+ the MB increased and I noticed that Disney+ is using an extremely large amount of RAM. It's driving me crazy because every time I reload I have to go back to my last scene. I'm asking for a solution.
I'm currently using a laptop with Windows 11 Home, which is 64-bit or something similar. I have 8 GB of RAM, and my load file isn't automatically defined or changed.
Mi 8GB can still start something in a laptop… I have the same problem and the hardware doesn’t matter. With me it’s a Ryzen 5 3600 with a GTX 1660 Super. I installed 16 gb Ram, and my opera doesn’t show any anomalies. I now open diney+ as tab slowly builds the number on RAM that eats this tab. that rises up to 5GB and then remains there. At some point, it is increasing to such an extent that Opera crashes because no RAM is available. Funny wisely the “deficient RAM” has no effect on the rest of the sytem……
How can I look at rest disney+
I discovered by manual search that the problem only occurs in Opera. In Chrome or Firefox I don’t have this problem. The simplest solution would be to look Disney+ over the standard browser. Even if it’s annoying to have Disney+ reopen after every start of the computer.
4K – Downstream is a certain house number even in precaching video content in streaming – platforms such as Netflix, Disney and various other TV platform services .
Opera itself, however, also likes to phone very unpleasantly cumbersome and resource-free home, as I had to notice in recent versions of this browser when trying this browser on my laptop.
With 8 GB you won’t get very far π
Isn’t laptop what I want to do, but look like a series
Fire TV rules everything (Amazon Prime) π
Here’s your answer to your question.
1. Possibility: You may have too many tabs or programs open. Watch it in the task manager of Windows, Google for how to open it. And I have an 8 GB RAM laptop myself and also had Opera GX installed and worked wonderfully, provided that background programs are closed and few tabs are open.
Two. Possibility: Install Disney+ on your device. He also helped me:)
I hope this answered your question.
Kind regards.
It’s not on the tabs. I have the same problem as described above… Only Disney+ as a tab prepares the problem. No other tabs open, no programs run. I’ll try your 2nd approach
