Opinion about Nemo and the Code?
So Nemo won the ESC this year for Switzerland with the song “The Code”.
Nemo is not the fish from the Disney movie. Nemo named himself that because Nemo from the Disney movie is a clownfish and clownfish can also change their (biological) gender. Nemo is non-binary and his song is about his/her search for his/her identity and how he/she/it has solved the riddle and finally feels free. In the song Nemo describes his/her journey and how Nemo solved the riddle. I think the song is very good and beautiful in every respect.
First of all, the song has a great message and the lyrics are simply beautiful and you really feel happy for Nemo that he/she is finally happy and has found the truth. I also think the piece is great musically. They sang some really great operas and then tapped and sang "normally" in between. A simply great performance and I thought the entrance was great too. And Nemo looked so happy and his/her outfit was really beautiful too.
I just find Nemo incredibly likeable, honest, authentic and cool.
In my opinion, Nemo really deserved the win and I think it's a real shame that everyone on Nemo's TikToks is writing that Joost Klein is the winner and so on. I also think it's unfair that Joost Klein is out, but that's not Nemo's fault.

The Disney movie was a coincidence. The above docu is worth seeing overall. There is also a 2nd part (finals).
I like the song very well and is definitely more high quality than ‘Europapa’ and also the Croatian contribution. The jury, fortunately, recognized and appreciated this. Nemo has earned it.
I would still be interested if the ‘Gilmore Girls’ DVD arrived in Switzerland.

Personally, I like his song. On the one hand, it acts as a dice and yet constructed. I also find his recordings interesting, especially those on the Ammonites. So I see the whole song as a personal summary of his life.
The other little one prefers his song, of course, is their opinion and that is also right. Not everyone has to find the same good.
I personally can’t find the song. I don’t like his high voice at all, and I don’t think the short rap in between doesn’t fit into the song. I can’t say anything good about his personality, because I can’t suffer people like that. I can’t explain this, but I just can’t find it right.
