My gums won't stop bleeding and it hurts. What should I do?

I am a candidate and my gums bleed badly or they swell up. But then they go away again. My dentist says that I have good teeth and hardly any tartar and he doesn't understand why it is like that for me. Yes, it has gotten worse. I have swelling almost all over my gums, it hurts when I eat and bleeds straight away. Sometimes it just bleeds and I wear a lingual arch from the orthodontist and according to the dentist I have some kind of hyperplasia. My gums have also receded very slightly and I'm really scared because I prefer my teeth. I'm only 25. I don't take blood thinners or anything like that or any medication. And I'm not pregnant. I just know that I often bleed more after operations and things like that and that I used to get nosebleeds as a child. What could it be? I once woke up in the night and my pillow was covered in blood coming from my mouth.

Hello..

Diseases. In certain diseases, the gum can bleed more often and regularly. These include disorders of blood coagulation, diabetes mellitus type 1, diabetes mellitus type 2 or an HIV infection. Herpesviruses or fungi can also cause gum blood, but less frequently.

If you’d let blood count control, the doctor’s nerve will recognize a lot.

Let your dentist give you a referral to a maxillofacial surgeon.

Otherwise, if your dental hygiene suits, I can only recommend testing vitamin C once. Skorbut is in and for itself rare in the western world, but it happens. And it can also occur when the body has difficulties with taking up.
In the normal blood tests, vitamin C is not distorted, it is necessary to prepare and deep freeze. If you make an appointment for it, ask best if they can take it off at all.

I only know that I often bleed more with surgery and something or had nasal blood as a child

Hm, you might want to see a specialist who knows about such diseases. I don’t know who’s in charge, but a doctor should be able to tell you this and give you a transfer.

Do others in your family have something like that?

Hello

You could make a test for bacteria, maybe you have some germs in your mouth triggering bleeding.

Normally this is not, perhaps use a time of antibacterial flushing, or rinse with salt or chamomile.

I don’t know your dental hygiene, otherwise I would ask another dentist.

Do you have nutrient deficiency? Let’s check it out.
