My bird poops in the water, is that normal?
I've noticed that since I got the birds, they've been pooping in the water every day, and I wanted to ask if that's normal. I'm desperate because I can't figure out why they poop in the drink.

Hey! I have a question regarding my male golden hamster. He's been nibbling on the glass lid of his terrarium since New Year's Eve. He also no longer runs in his exercise wheel. I have really tried everything there is to try. 1. He has enough space. He has a 170x50x50 cm terrarium plus a…
When my budgies fly around the room, they always sit in the same spot (on my cupboard), even though I've made so many things for them (out of branches from nature). Why don't they go on them? A playground just for them. Always in the same spot! What can I do to get them to…
Hello, I have a female budgie who was born on June 30, 2019. But she can't fly, and I think she's missing a few feathers on her wings. I also have a 2-month-old male who flies without any problems. They're both from the same breeder. The female is the green one. Is it normal that…
Hello! I want to get fancy mice and have already built a "nagarium" with my dad. The "nagarium" is 150x70x50 cm (length, width, height). I'm planning on getting 3-5 fancy mice for the first time. The only thing I'm missing now is the perfect accessories and food. I was planning on buying everything from a…
I have a sick chicken and need to go to the vet. The vet is an hour away, and I'm sure I'll have to wait in the waiting room. My question is, should I really leave the chicken alone for three hours? Or should I take my other chicken with me?
Hey people, have a problem. I have to give a presentation on Monday about Antarctica, and there are penguins there. I was thinking about including them as a little fact sheet, but now I'm having trouble knowing what penguins actually are. Because on the one hand, they lay eggs, so they're birds, but they can't…
Smaller customs – nymphsittiches and waves (as well as many other birds) – are unreliable, no matter where they are and what they do.
This behavior is less due to the rapid metabolism of birds than much more to their constant need for security.
The connection is quite simple:
Absorb frequent feces, reduces body mass.
Lower body mass is a decisive advantage when flying and maneuvering in the air.
It thus increases the ability of flying birds to better meet dangers.

Probably a seat rod of the birds is directly above the water bowl. Change the position of the bars, so the problem should be solved.
No there is no seat bar that sits always on the water bowl and the next day is kot in 😅
Why are your birds sitting? always in the water bowl?
Do they not have enough seat rods or better still natural branches (cross and across the cage) so that everyone (as in the free nature) can choose their favorite place and feel like sitting on a tree? The birds also need pastime, want to climb, shred and play the branches.
Try ‘install’ different hazelnut or beech branches (you can get free of charge for a walk in nature – but please don’t have a resinous wood like a fir) in the cage/voliere and after a few days you will be able to notice that your nymphi’s prefer higher seat (higher than the water bowl) and then only get to drink.
I wish you lots of fun and lots of good ideas in redesigning your bird’s home.

That’s normal. They don’t look where they’re going. And when they often sit on the water bowl, it seems to be a favorite place.
It’s not unusual.
However, you should tell us what birds it is if you want a helpful answer.

They are nymphsittiche
Yes that’s normal
That’s normal.
They’re not going to do that, that’s what happens to them, our Wellis too. Change water every day!
