Hello, What should you look for when using an external hard drive as a backup or as a normal storage medium? SSD? or HDD? When is a read-write rate good? At what rpm? Are the €40-50 for 500GB to 1TB any good? e.g. the: https://www.amazon.de/Intenso-Portable-Festplatte-Aluminium-anthrazit/dp/B0742KXY2R/ref=sr_1_26?c=ts&keywords=Externe+SSD&qid=1657449434&s=computers&sr=1-26&ts_id=430133031 Thanks

You don’t see what your operating system still has in hidden system directories of update packages. And they can cover some storage space with time.
