Hello.
For example, if your brake blocks are worn off, wear (which you have to pay for yourself) and no warranty case.
In addition, in your question, you throw a guarantee and warranty together. The warranty is required by law and is 2 years for new items. However, the seller only has to repair everything at its expense in the first 6 months. After that, the buyer must prove that the defect was already there from the beginning, and he did not notice it.
Guarantee is a voluntary service whose duration can be individually agreed. Within the warranty period, the seller must fix all defects at its costs and also provide a replacement vehicle.
Provided that you have warranty for your scooter (and not only warranty), you could start to dissect whether the carburetor was contaminated by dirt in petrol (then it would be your problem) or by inappropriate assembly, dissolution of any type-related deposits etc (then it would be a garatie case). Probably it was dirt in gasoline. If you think it was different, you would have to prove it to the seller… And I don’t think you’ll succeed.

The factory guarantee covers damage caused by errors in parts or during assembly.
So, mistakes for which the work is responsible. The dealer will rightly argue here that the dirt in the carburetor was not yet present on the finished brand new scooter.
The manufacturer can’t do anything for the residues in petrol. But the repair is very favorable. With us in Switzerland you would probably have put three times on the counter.
Have fun with your TGB

If the carburetor had defect, this would have been a matter of guaranteeing that the cleaning of the carburetor should be regarded as “wear”.
The warranty only applies to defects of various parts which do not fall under wear, but a contamination is not a defect and can be repaired by cleaning.
Actually, this cleaning could also be done during the customer service in order to avoid a second stay in the workshop, but that probably handles any workshop differently.
but if the contaminants take place only after the workshop visit, then each workshop is powerless.
In fact, this is correct, such a stubborn impurity that it impairs the operation is usually, however, not the same from now on.
If the scooter is often outside, water can form in the tank and carburetor. This has no influence as a trader and does not have to be liable for the subsequent problems.
In this case it is possible to drive from time to time with gasoline additive or acetone, the water binds and cleanses the carburetor – if it is a 4-stroke (but it is not recommended for 2-strokes).
gasification is not guaranteed
air pumping does not include… 🙂
The purification of the carburetor generally does not fall into the legal guarantee. Reason is quite simple – you refuel regularly. During the tank inlet, dirt can enter the tank, which can ultimately be deposited in the carburetor.
Why don’t you just clean him up or have two left hands?
