Multiple problems after complete brake replacement (ABS, ESP and pedal)?

I am currently trying out a test vehicle as a layman on a Mitsubishi Colt VI Z30 and have replaced the following parts:

• Wheel hub and bearings rear both sides
• Rear brake disc both sides
• Brake pads both sides
• Rear right brake caliper

Everything worked fine so far. We had purchased a bleeder to replace the fluid under pressure and remove the air from the system. Unfortunately, the adapter didn't fit, so we tried the pump method. This involved repeatedly pressing the brake pedal until no air was visible in the hose. We did this on all four sides, of course (rear right, rear left, front right, and front left).

Now we fired up the thing and did a test drive and discovered the following problems:

1. I have to press the brake pedal pretty far for the car to come to a stop. So it still feels like there's air in the system, but that can't be the case, can it?
2. The ABS and ESP warning lights have now come on and won't go off. When I replaced the wheel bearings, I obviously had to remove the ABS system and reinstall it. I already thought that might be causing the error message. But why is the ESP warning light also lit up now?

The rest feels very good and doesn't feel like there were any other issues. The car brakes, but I have to press down quite hard, except for emergency braking, when everything works perfectly.
