6L creates mine (but also perhaps) at 80kmh in the wind shadow on the highway. Mine usually gives me a range after the full tank. 480 and 520km. At a 65L tank. Of course I’ve never had it before, is not important 😁
I find it extremely important. Sometimes I take a rental car and I get such a neck when it cleanses like a hole in a gentle way. I want to get as far as possible with the liter of gasoline. First of all, is all CO2 emissions, secondly it costs money
Jo, my E46 330Ci needs 9l Super Plus on 100km 🙂
Oh, my God!
Isn’t much now
And that’s not really much for a 330Ci.
Jo at 120 also moves me at 3000 revolutions, would have a lasting consumption of 7 liters, but I usually drive more than 160-200, but the consumption is much higher but still remains within the frame 🤷 ♂️
That you pay attention to predominantly bio-fair-regional diet and use equipment for a long time, honors you from my point of view and is very pleasant to me. I also loved the fact that there were several VWs in my family of origin, which, without serious engine repairs, clearly over 300,000 km. Since approx. 15 years we have the privilege of living in such a way that we don’t need a car and have it. However, as I need at least 2-3 times a year one and car rentals are usually very new, I get the latest buckling snack very well. 2 years ago, we also picked up our 1998 TV and I used laptop and smartphone until nothing goes.
I just wondered about the 9 liters. Performance is not strictly proportional to consumption, is it? Before there was the 90-PS passport in our family, there was one with 55 hp, which was operated a few more years after the new one had been purchased and had a much less favourable consumption. This was explained to us by our car mechanic that the 55 already had quite a lot of effort at our usual travel speeds of 120-140 km/h, while the larger one at this speed was in its optimal performance range (if I remember correctly, the one at 120 at 3000 revolutions)
Combined, the E28 M5 consumed 15.8l, which was at a time when Sprit even cost nix 🤷 ♂️
The Passat has a small 4 cylinder engine, the M5 has a hexagon cylinder with twice as much space and almost three times as much power.
I am very economical with the raw materials because I drive a 21-year-old car which does not have to be produced a new car 😉
Otherwise, I eat the most vegetarian and both regional and seasonal as well, that is to say I look very much at my CO2 emissions.
Also I use zb electronics as long as it goes, my smartphone zb is 3 years old, my laptop is almost 6, the TV even over 7 years old. Everything is used until it’s irreparable. This is sustainable and protects the environment and resources 🙂
You’re really sure the five used so much back then! That’s bad, we had a passport 3, I think 1.8 l and 90 hp, we needed 6 liters, and at VW the consumption of vehicles has risen rather. But it is so or so much too much! We have too much CO2 in the atmosphere and it would be good if everyone would try to deal with raw materials as sparingly as possible instead of heating them as completely pointless. 9 liters of gasoline per 100 km I find a bit like 22 degrees in the living room by wide open window.
To take the same displacement for comparison:
An E34 530i with a 3l hexagon had only 188 hp in 1988 but a consumption of 11-12 liters.
In my sense it is 13 years later 50 hp more and 2-3l less consumption which is a significant progress
This is a 3l hexagon with 231 hp and the vehicle weighs 1.4t.
The cars in the 80s were significantly weaker with the same engine capacity and also lighter at the top, but had a significantly higher consumption
A 5 out of the 80s, we take the E28 with 3.5l R6 weighed also 1.4t had only 50 hp more and consumed almost twice with 16.5l, so has significantly improved
I think that’s a lot. You almost despair when you read that. I’ve got what you’re writing up on Google, that’s a BMW, right? Big BMWs no longer needed in the eighties. One wonders: “If there is no technical progress? If you take oil from the earth, you want to make it as much as possible, in the case as many kilometers as possible.
Always.
8.8L in normal case but also rather high to 10L.
Boa, this is madness
Why is that madness?
I drove 2700km last month and ran around 450L. I also like to get the consumption to 11.5L. More hasn’t been done yet.
Yes, logically. Power comes from fuel.
So specified in the BA is mine with 6.4 L at ECO operation. I’ve never done that before. I’m always around 7 – 7.2 L, according to the on-board computer or even my own account according to the tank bills. Once it was 6.9 L. How did I do that?
In summer 7 and winter a little more. For the car a relatively low to normal consumption
Ford Focus MK1 1.8
Ah krass, I had a Ford Focus as a rental car several times, now no longer knows the exact type, but I managed to stay at 6 liters regularly. Probably it was different versions than yours
The focus is built 24 years ago 😅 of course there are several different motorizations
In addition to an extreme long distance with a sloping drive handle, it is not possible to drive with 6 liters.
because I only drive short distance with my car I am on average unfortunately at about 7.5 l
the 2 times a month where I drive long distance and get down to 6.2 because unfortunately no more weight.
Always on the car. I’ve got two diesels that both need about 5.5-6 liters. But I also need Ami with V6 the about 9-11 liter.
Yes, my car is just above it in consumption and that’s the most economical car for years. Cars have been built for a long time for ever more decay. I’m glad I’m finally back in the area of my first cars. I don’t need this whole PS, but do I need a car with space and honestly? My current car is actually too small and I don’t get a trailer coupling anymore, so I have to drive more often.
I need the 6 liters when starting up until my double weaver gasifiers are flooded on my 02er and supplied with fresh sprit…
And on my Suzuki RG 500, 18 liters of fuel went through + a quarter liter 2stroke oil ☝🏽 at 90 Km
Oh, God, that’s horrible.
No “gile” and know why… because I can…
It is a BMW of the series 02 these were built from 1969-1975 mine was a 1502 so a 1,5L engine with 75hp I then converted to a 2002 ti. The ti was then equipped with 40 double gasifiers from Solex. I drive the far out of better 40s weaving, furthermore a sharp camshaft was installed A,- and outlet channels polished and to increase the compression of the cylinder head removed i.e. it was made lower to increase the pressure in the combustion chamber….because I can’t attach a picture here I can answer your question again with a photo
Competence refers to vehicle construction and not to the enormous waste of petrol. Now I was interested and I wanted to know what a 02er is. When I googled, I didn’t get really smart. Are you telling me?
The skill is that I have restored this vehicle, modified the engine and revised have adapted axles and brakes of performance. All this can only do who has enough competence or who has learned it…
Because you can? To heat gasoline in quantities that almost a tank loader has to come next to you, what does that have to do with skill, skill, competence?
