Meerschweinchen schwanger?
Hallo ich habe vor einer Woche 2 meeri Weibchen gekauft, eine wird am Bauch immer dicker, bewegt sich wenig, isst aber mehr. Wir haben sie versucht zu “untersuchen” und sie lässt sich am Bauch ungern anfassen und quickt dann, die andere hat nichts. Wir haben die Vorbesitzern gefragt und sie meinte das sie die Schweine mit 4 Wochen getrennt hat, allerdings habe ich im Internet gelesen das sie mit 3 Wochen geschlechtsreif sind, kann es sein das sie schwanger ist ?
ich denke mal das sie ja dann schon schwanger zu mir kam

If they have lived together with male siblings for 4 or perhaps even 8 weeks, they are most likely pregnant, too early and that is very dangerous. Young guinea pigs become sexually mature with 21 days, at this age they still drink breast milk.

This is the reason why you don’t buy your guinea pigs from “private” (multipliers) and from classifieds and also not in the zoo trade. It is better to turn to serious emergency aids or breeders. You can’t find them in the classifieds portals.
