Meerschweinchen Männchen alleine halten?

Hallo (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

You can never replace a fellow! Even if you had 24/7 time for your Meeri. It is and remains malting to hold a group animal individually. For also Animal welfare law pre-groups or swarms shall have at least one consortium; i.e. are held to be two.

There would be no option to use a rabbit. The two species don’t speak the same language, then both of them would be alone. In addition, a rabbit would most likely dominate the guinea pig as it is larger and stronger. That was not your question, but it was a matter of mentioning it.

So… at least one second guinea pig or none at all.

In addition, a shnöder 0/8/15 cage is not sufficient. They are too small with their 120 × 60 cm or 140 × 70 cm. guinea pigs run a lot and liked so they either need a large runout or a nice large walk:

We keep our guinea pig alone and this is very good. He’s in the living room and is always very interested in what’s going on. Don’t know when it started, that everyone’s going through like that.

Best regards

I’m sorry to say that, but you have to get a second guinea pig on your own. They eat nothing and die sometime. Even a dwarf bunny cannot replace a buddy. However, if you have no room, Hamster is a good alternative, as they are held alone.

Yeah, all right, I’ve got guerrillas too, and as the one who died, the remaining has been through a really bad time. Now he got two new friends.

you mean Hamster doesn’t need a place? If you want to keep it responsibly, an aquarium should have a length of 2 meters.

I mean, they need less space than guinea pigs. Our seaweed is 4x1m tall and they also have an outside stable (about 2x2m) I doubt that a hamster needs so much space

By the what you should never hold a hamster to two. Didn’t a friend Mal tried, and they were eating each other. But guinea pigs are packs. They are best understood in larger groups

No, definitely it should be at least 3 guinea pigs.
They usually fall quickly into depression. No human being in the world could be a good substitute.

No, that wouldn’t be kind even if you were there all day, you wouldn’t be replacing a fellow. These are groups of animals. Everybody else here is right.

Hello!

Keeping alone is not possible with guinea pigs at all!

Even if you deal with him a lot, you’re still not a guinea pig and you can’t replace a missing fellow.
