My guinea pigs also rest. It’s normal for them. It’s just a little fight if one of them is too close to the other.

This is called brommseln and serves to impress the other guinea pigs, it is part of the mating ritual.

That’s absolutely normal with guinea pigs, you don’t have to worry.

What I think is funny about my pigs is that both are females and still stick together… Do you know if this is normal?😅

The bromble also serves to greet and it is expressed in the brunch (sweet behavior). Too bad that you only hold females, that’s all other than fair. Females always need a castrate, otherwise they can become very ill: https://meerschweinchen-nothilfe-hamburg.de/haremsgruppen.html

If you have two females, it can also be normal, but without chestnuts there is also the possibility that they have ovarian cysts. Are they otherwise behavioral? Agressive and unusually dominant?

Yes, even female guerrillas brommseln, this can serve to clarify the range among themselves but also to show that female is ”willing”.

Not necessarily, it can be even if there are 2 sheets to clarify the range.

That’s clear to us… earlier, we had another male, that died of a middle ear infection… We had a bad luck because when we got our two females, the male got sick, and that’s why the risk is too high that if we get another male, another one gets sick…
