Meerschwein Hinterbeine gelähmt?
Moin,
Was sollte man tun? Sterben lassen oder einschläfern?
Go to the vet!
This can determine the cause, e.g. an arthrosis and administer painkillers, also as permanent medication.
A veterinarian who eats and thus participates in life is NOT allowed to sleep. He must treat it palliatively.
Example: Infinity, age unknown, can no longer run.
He gets Chinese medicine (analgos) for the treatment of osteoarthritis and spundilose, painkillers (metacam) and I do physiotherapy according to the veterinarian’s instructions. He’s been eating and he’s been running a few steps again for a few days. Why sleep?
He’s dead now, but thanks anyway.
My condolences!
In such a situation it is important to consider the welfare of the animal and to make a decision based on its condition. It is best to visit a veterinarian to get accurate diagnosis and professional advice.
The veterinarian can assess the health of your guinea pig and determine whether there is a possibility of treatment to improve its quality of life or to alleviate pain. In some cases, certain diseases or injuries may lead to temporary or permanent movement problems.
If the state of your guinea pig is not negotiable and it has severe pain or a high impairment of the quality of life is present, a beating can be a human option. However, this should be a decision taken in consultation with the veterinarian who can best assess the health of your guinea pig.
It is important to keep an eye on the needs and well-being of your guinea pig. An experienced veterinarian can help you make the best possible decision for your guinea pig.
It would have been best if you noticed driving to the vet. Your animal suffers mute and you just keep looking at it? Even if your legs are paralyzed, you’d be coming to the hospital and not looking at all this for days, wouldn’t you? It’s called the animal clinic today. Then you can see what it is. Because it must have a cause, and it certainly is not age.
I’m just coming up with these guys asking the gall up. What incapable holders are you to look at your animals during suffering and not to find it necessary to immediately a veterinarian/clinic with such a sick animal. People like you should get a life ban imposed.
He does not suffer from my and the opinion of the veterinarian. The only thing that can do is sleep.
No, he can administer painkillers.
How do you know? An animal that runs the hind legs gently or “bready” surely has pain.
The animal seems to have no pain.
Veterinary! That’s the least. And then physiotherapy, if you’re ready to take the money into your hands.
To the veterinarian… by the way, it is less interesting whether it can still move the hind legs while the appetite is still there. Does the digestion still work? If no, this can lead to a VERY painful death.
So let the animal check out and watch the animal until then, so that you can see your observations at the TA.
Yeah, he’s got a lot of time because he can’t move well anymore.
That’s exactly what a vet should tell you.
Take the animal tomorrow.
Please to the vet! I beg you!
Please!
