Medikament?

Hallo,

Ich habe eine Frage zu einem Medikament, bitte nur antworten, wenn ihr euch damit auskennt/es selbst genommen habt.

Das Medikament heißt BREVACTID und ist ein Eisprung auslösendes Medikament.

Im Internet steht, dass da humanes Hcg (Schwangerschaftshormon) enthalten ist. Stimmt das?

Da steht was mit”Hormon, dass aus dem Urin schwangerer entkommen wurde”.

Heißt das, dass das ein richtiges Schwangerschaftshormon ist und somit ein Schwangerschaftstest positiv anzeigen würde?

Also kein künstliches Hormon, was nicht bei einem Test falsch positiv anzeigt?

Hello

Yes, this drug includes the pregnancy hormone ẞ-HCG.

So if you would make a pregnancy test while taking BREVACTID, this would be positive even if you did not get pregnant. Pregnancy is then determined by ultrasound in the gynecologist and not by urine or blood test.

Yeah, that’s right. The package leaflet is of course correct.

Does that mean that this is a correct pregnancy hormone and thus would show a positive pregnancy test?

This is also expressly included in the package leaflet:

impairment of laboratory tests After application, BREVACTID 5000 I.E. can interact with the immunological determination of hCG in serum/Urin for up to 10 days and lead to a falsely positive pregnancy test. (Link)
