MediaCom scam?
Today I took part in an alleged Lidl competition.
Now in retrospect I know that it was stupid and that I should have left it alone
However, I did not enter into a contract, I only provided my account number.
Can it happen that my account is emptied?
Do I need a new account number?

Nobody can do anything with your account number alone, so you can't withdraw money or make purchases.
A direct debit could debit the account, but you would have to have given your consent.
So keep an eye on your account. If you receive an incorrect direct debit, you can reverse it.
Check your account and immediately see if you have a subscription.
