MB new car ceiling?

Hello,

On YouTube you can occasionally see that when people pick up their new Benz they put a velvet cloth or blanket over the car during the handover, and then it is removed when the customer picks it up as a "show".

I'm curious: is this the case with every new car? Is this only done because it's a VIP lease or because YouTube posts it publicly? Or only if it's a premium car/AMG, etc.?

Maybe someone has experience with this 🙂 Factory pickup or dealer? Does it make a difference?

No, that’s not happening. This is probably more for film and television… ðŸ ̃‰ But depending on the vehicle, there is a flower bouquet or a nice bottle…
