Mazda 6 cracking noise front right (2006)?
Hello dear car community,
I have noticed a cracking noise in the front right corner for about 200km, it cracks for the first time when I accelerate a little harder and the second time when I brake (like a shifting back and forth). A few days ago I drove (slowly) down a slightly higher curb on the right side (only the right side was on the pavement) then there was a bang but after that it was the same thing again.
Today when I started driving it cracked loudly and then it felt as if my front right wheel had buckled (but it hasn't, everything looks normal from the outside).
Now my question what could be the reason for this, answers would really help me a lot
MFG
This will allow you to drive directly into a workshop so that a mechanic can listen to it during a test journey. Please!
I also want to know today right after work to a well-known one who has at home just wanted to know if someone knows what this can be and what it costs best.
Nevertheless, many thanks to:D
Good luck! (and low cost;)
Could be the wheel bearing or wheel hub. You should definitely go to the workshop. Also because of the edge of the curb, where you are over or down, that usually does not do so well to the chassis. Chassis is an absolutely safety-relevant component, you should definitely have a professional look at it.
Thank you so much, you know how much that costs?
There are a few hundred euros in the workshop. You get the parts yourself for under 100€ on the Internet e-bay. You should know, not that you order the wrong parts. Of course, a person skilled in the art should be made of or installed.
