Math number puzzles?
I have two math number puzzles that I only have to write down and not solve.
The first is: The product of a number and 2.5 is 8 times greater than twice a second number. Five times the second number is 2 times less than four times the first. I thought: I 2.5x + 8 = 2y II 5 × 2y – 2 = 4 × 2.5x
The other is: The sum of two numbers is 49, their quotient is 6. Unfortunately, I have no idea about that, so it must at least be x+y=49, but I don't know the quotient 6.

“Das Produkt aus einer Zahl und 2,5 ist um 8 größer als …”
Um Gleichheit zu erreichen, musst Du folglich 8 subtrahieren und nicht 8 addieren.
Überprüfe auch die zweite Gleichung.
