Brand names Spain?

Hello,

Which brand names are used as a basic meaning? I mean, to such an extent that the official name seems odd (like hazelnut spread instead of Nutella, or adhesive tape instead of Tesa). Kleenex and Chupa Chups are the only things that immediately come to mind, but there are probably more…

And what do you call something like that in linguistics? I knew that once, but I've forgotten it again. Something like a toponym, but without the topo… 😉
