I saw that you can mark your favorite game on Steam, and then it will appear on your Steam profile. But I'm wondering how that works, because when I go to a game, there's no mention of "mark as favorite" anywhere.

When you click Edit on your profile, you can adjust the tabs in the Showcase – where you select the tab favorite game and select the game in the tab, click Save below.
I’m going to my profile and there’s profile editing. If I’m drauklicke there, it’s just:
General, Avatar, Profile Background, Mini Profile, Schema, Issued Badge, Privacy Settings, Steam Point Shop
