Make Facebook comments on other sites invisible to others?

This question was asked in 2010 and 2017 etc. I wonder if Facebook has changed anything about making its own comments on other pages readable for friends?

I've noticed that I can read other people's comments, but not everyone's yet, and I don't think that person never comments. I've commented so often in groups about psychology, etc., that when I just realized this, I was extremely embarrassed. Does anyone know what I can do about this?
